SHER-WOOD HOCKEY INC. POLICY PRODUCT WARRANTY - CONSUMERS
Sher-Wood Hockey and TPS hockey products are built from the finest of materials and craftsmanship so that their performance exceeds the expectations of our customers.
Hockey is a physical game and as such all hockey sticks are designed to break if an unreasonable force is applied. In certain cases it may be due to a manufacturing defect. If you feel the breakage of your stick was not caused by normal wear and tear, please refer to the Warranty Policy below to determine the next steps for you.
Warranty Policy: (*Professional, Junior and College team sales are excluded from this warranty.)
Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. offers to the original buyer exclusively a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for thirty (30) days from the original retail purchase date when used under normal and customary use in ice hockey play. We will provide a ONE-TIME warranty replacement for Sticks/Shafts/Blades if:
The Stick/Shaft/Blade was purchased at an authorized Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. retailer and a proof of purchase in the form of an original electronic cash register receipt is submitted;
There is no evidence that the hockey Stick/Shaft/Blade has been abused, tampered with, over-heated, altered, defaced, misused, skate-cut, expose to open flame or otherwise damaged through an act of neglect of the consumer;
The hockey stick and/or shaft is returned in its entirety;
Upon inspection by the company, the company determines in its sole discretion that the product breakage was due to a manufacturing defect and not any other reason;
Claim must be submitted within the 30 day warranty period.
Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. offers to the original buyer exclusively a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for ninety (90) days from the original retail purchase date. We will provide a warranty replacement for products if:
The product was purchased at an authorized Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. retailer and the customer submits a proof of purchase from an authorized dealer in the form of an original electronic cash register receipt.
There is no evidence that the product has been abused, altered, defaced, misused or otherwise damaged through an act of neglect of the consumer.
If a defect arises in a genuine Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. product during its warranty period, and the buyer complies with the above requirements, the company shall, at its sole discretion;
If you have any questions regarding your warranty or wish to obtain warranty service, please contact your nearest authorized Sher-Wood dealer and they will assist you with your request.
The buyer is accountable for shipping charges in sending back the defective product. Sher-Wood Hockey Inc. will return the repaired or replacement product at no charge.
Limitations On Warranties
ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE;
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANY WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW AS HEREBY LIMITED, THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, AGREEMENTS AND SIMILAR OBLIGATIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER OF SELLER;
SHER-WOOD HOCKEY INC. IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF SHER-WOOD PRODUCTS;
No person, agent, distributor, dealer or other third party is authorized to change, modify, or extend the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever;
